Course description
As of 2016, new vehicles require a minimum of two ADAS systems fitted to qualify for a 5 Star NCAP Safety Rating, these must be Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Lane Departure. This course covers the understanding of ADAS and ADAS Sensors • Relationship To Vehicle Alignment and ADAS • Effects of Incorrect Calibration • Effects on Other Related Systems • When a Calibration Should Take Place • understand the theory of how to perform a Dynamic Calibrations • the theory on how To Perform a Static Calibration • Post Calibration
Course goals and objectives
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to: • Understand features of Dynamic and Static calibration • the theory of how to calibrate camera-based driver assist systems and the impact on the workshop and drivers
