Course overview: Want to become the leader your garage deserves? Struggling to inspire and rally your business towards a common goal? Does managing your team feel like a never-ending battle? For many garage owners, the task of leading a team effectively can be more daunting than solving the most complex engine issue. My online course is specifically designed to help independent garage owners build, manage, and lead their teams to operational success and create a thriving workplace. Course agenda: Welcome Explore how the course works and introduce yourself to the rest of the group prior to the first live workshop. Week 1: Leadership Essentials In this first week, we’ll dive into the core attributes of successful leadership. Understand the different leadership styles and discover what resonates most with your personality and business philosophy. You’ll reflect on your own style of leadership and identify a plan to help you become the leader your garage business needs. 1 hour live workshop + 2-3 hours self-study Week 2: Building an Effective Team This week focuses on the mechanics of building a strong team. Learn how to select the right individuals for your team, set clear expectations, and manage dynamics to keep everyone aligned and motivated. You’ll learn how to communicate effectively, how to manage challenging individuals and how to lead your team towards a common goal. 1 hour live workshop + 2-3 hours self-study Wrap-Up You’ll join the third and final live workshop to consolidate everything you’ve learned and kick-start your action plan.

This course is delivered entirely online. You will attend 3x online workshops (1 per week) and complete self-study materials, at your own pace and time, between workshops.
