Course description
Lifelong accreditation that recognises your light vehicle inspection skills Awarded by ABC Awards, the Vehicle Technician Accredited Assessment (VTAA) recognises knowledge and skills at Level 3 for technicians without a formal qualification.
It is a certificated accreditation recognised by DVSA as a pre-entry accreditation to become an MOT tester.
This accreditation is an alternative to the IMI Light Vehicle Inspection Technician, and is for technicians who are involved in the inspection, maintenance and repair of light vehicles.
Entry Requirements: It is necessary of have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a garage and a basic understanding of MOT Testing.
1 Day: This is for skilled technicians who are able to compete the assessment with no training.
