Course description
With the increasing number of electric and hybrid vehicles on the road it is essential that tyre technicians understand the differences in tyre requirements for EVs compared to ICE powered vehicles and the pitfalls of fitting the incorrect tyres.
This course also explains the safe working procedures for working on EVs (including jacking up and checking tyres) to avoid causing damage as well as an introduction / update to the latest tyre technology, tyre construction and tyre repairs.
Candidates successfully completing the course will be awarded an industry recognised qualification with certification, ID card and registration on the NTDA database.

Course certificate description
Includes registration, training, certification and administration with the NTDA, a Certificate and a Photo ID Card. The Photo ID Card will remain valid for a period of five years.
