Course description
This comprehensive course provides learners with a solid foundation in the principles and operation of vehicle air conditioning systems, with a focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The course is designed for technicians, apprentices, and professionals working in the automotive industry who require certification for handling refrigerants under current environmental regulations.
Participants will explore the key components and functions of vehicle air conditioning systems, including system operation, diagnostics, servicing, and fault-finding techniques. Emphasis is placed on environmental and safety considerations, including the responsible handling of fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gases).
The course includes the F-Gas Assessment, enabling successful candidates to achieve certification in compliance with EU Regulation (EC) No. 307/2008, which is legally required for anyone working on mobile air conditioning systems containing fluorinated gases.
