Course goals and objectives
• Understand and explain how cameras, radars, and LiDAR contribute to vehicle safety and efficiency, including how surface reflectivity and environmental variables affect sensor performance and ADAS functions (LKA, LCA, ACC)
• Calibrate and configure camera, radar, and LiDAR systems according to OEM procedures, ensuring correct ECU power supply, parameter settings, and proper laser pulse output
• Diagnose and troubleshoot ADAS-related malfunctions (lane keeping, lane change assist, adaptive cruise control), interpreting calibration test results and sensor data to guide corrective actions.
• Verify compliance and functionality after intervention, assessing system performance, calibration accuracy, and alignment with manufacturer specifications.
• Operate safely and professionally, following industry safety standards, OEM guidelines, and best practices during calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
