A full overview of belting systems in the modern vehicle and how all the components are designed to work in harmony. How long has it been since you had some Timing system refresher training? INA tensioner development has enabled VMs to extend service intervals and help reduce emissions. How has this been achieved? How does your installation affect the life expectancy of the belt drive? Contents, • Schaeffler company introduction. • Let’s talk Torque • Manufacturing trends & challenges. • Belting developments • The most common misconceptions and fitting errors • INA Front End Auxiliary Drive systems & components including pulley decoupler. • INA Timing Drive all associated components & typical set up procedures. • INA Cooling systems, switchable, electric pumps & Thermal management systems.
Course goals and objectives
On completion the delegates will be able to: Refresh your knowledge – Times/Timing has changed! Ensure best fitting principles are applied. Avoid embarrassing and costly premature failures.
