MOT Training Course for Class 4 & 7 Course Overview Want to become an MOT tester? Becoming an MOT tester is easier now than ever as a sponsoring test station is no longer required. Why not add the extra skill to your repertoire, thus increasing your employability! What does it involve? This is a 4-day course, incorporating both the theory and practical elements of being an MOT Tester. Training will be completed at our purpose-built centre, fully equipped with the latest connected equipment. Throughout the course, you will receive support from our experienced, qualified teachers. After successful completion of the course, you will complete a DVSA demonstration test. By this stage, you will be very familiar with the vehicle and equipment and of course, we will be there to support you. Become an MOT Tester Training to be an MOT tester Requirements To become a class 4 & 7 tester you must already have: A level 3 qualification recognised by DVSA – click here to view a list of DVSA approved qualifications. If you do not have this qualification, we offer a Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection Course. If you're not sure, give us a call and we can discuss the best possible route for you 0333 358 2555. * A current & full UK driving license for the classes of vehicles you wish to test * A minimum of four years’ experience working in a garage. * Be of Good Repute as determined by the DVSA * You cannot become a tester if you have any unspent criminal convictions for criminal offences.
